Savvy Gardening is pleased to introduce a new podcast series that we like to call Short & Savvy. These fun sound bites are just a few minutes long, but they’re filled with plenty of garden inspiration.
I recently had the pleasure of connecting with plantsman David Culp. David is the author of The Layered Garden: Design Lessons for Year-Round Beauty from Brandywine Cottage (Timber Press, 2012). His two-acre garden in Pennsylvania is a stunning example of an interplanted landscape that absolutely sings with color, texture, and year-round interest. In this Short & Savvy Podcast, David discusses some of his favorite spring-blooming plants and offers some insight on winter’s impact on the garden.
