***This contest has ended. Congratulations to our winner, Jan Schmidt!***

Savvy Gardening is excited to be partnering with Nature Hills Nursery for a terrific gardening giveaway! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so we’re teaming up to give one lucky winner a gorgeous, 3-gallon-sized Invincibelle® Spirit II Hydrangea!

Aside from being a great plant, $1.00 from each Invincibelle® Spirit II sold in the marketplace is donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. BCRF is dedicated to advancing the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer in our lifetime. So, even if you don’t win the hydrangea we’re giving away, you can still be a winner by buying one of your own.

The Invincibelle® Spirit II hydrangea is a reliable-blooming, cultivated form of a North American native shrub. It’s hardy in USDA zones 3-9, and the four-foot tall plants are covered in large flower heads that are a brilliant pink, regardless of the soil’s pH. It’s a stunning, easy to care for hydrangea – what could be better?

Contest details:

  • The contest is open to residents of the 48 contiguous states.
  • The winner will be contacted via email soon after the contest is closed.
  • Contest ends at midnight EST on October 26th, 2016.
  • The winner’s plant will be shipped at the perfect planting time next spring.
  • One entry per email address, but you can earn bonus entries by following us on Twitter and sharing with friends who enter.

And remember, after you enter our giveaway, call your doc and schedule your annual mammogram (or, if you’re a gentleman, give a kind reminder to the woman you love).
